A Strong End to A Great Year

October 23, 2014

The 2014 Big Machine Pro Late Model Challenge came to a close October 4th. Tucker came into the race 4th in points and a long-shot to take the title once again.

After receiving damage from an early accident, the #88 crew repaired the car the best they could on pit road without losing a lap. Tucker then battled his way through the largest Pro Late Model field in years to finish 6th. Title contenders Josh Weston and Mark Day had trouble late, which helped catapult Wingo to 2nd in points behind new champion Cole Williams.

With a win on the season and 5 top-6’s (out of 7 races), this year helped solidify Wingo’s place in the record books amongst Fairground Speedway’s legends.
